Calling All Parents, Grandparents, Sisters, Brothers, Cousins,    & Friends

As you know we are a small rodeo association.  We are in need of volunteers.  We want to keep the rodeo running smoothly and at a good pace.  But, we can’t do it without your help.

 Please let us know if you have a few minutes to help out.  We don’t ask that you spend all night volunteering just a little bit of your time.

A few examples of things we need people to help with are:

* Gates   * Resetting Equipment (barrels/poles)    * Timers  *Concession Stand  

 Please contact the director of the event or sign up at the registration table.

It's Not Too Late.....

It's not too late to become a COJRA member and be eligible for year end awards.

Contestants must have competed in one (single) event a minimum of nine (9) times (does not include finals) and turn in their fundraiser money by August 16, 2008.

What You Must Have to Enter:

1) A certified copy of birth certificate

2) Notarized signed release (contestants parent or legal guardian MUST sign the release) Notary charge will be $1.00 for 2008 Release.

**Roping Event Moved to Saturdays**

Friday Rodeos will start at 7:00 p.m. with all events EXCEPT roping.  All roping events have been moved to Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m.  They will be the first event and will be done in 2 sets. 

All events are held at the Tyler Blount Memorial Arena (formerly the Guthrie Round-Up Club arena) in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
