2009 Rodeo Season   

We apologize for the cancellation on Friday night.

Due to uncontrollable circumstances the arena did not have electricity.

Thanks to:

Winston & Sandy Humphreys

The McIntyre Family &

The Westermier Family (you too....Poppy)

for hooking us up with enough generators/mathematical equations

 & extension cords to make

the Saturday performance happen.

We also want to thank

all the contestants & parents

that came out and competed

in the crazy hot weather on Saturday!

We are currently working to get a

makeup date/s

for Friday, June 26th & also the remaining events

from Friday, May 15th (6&U Barrels forward.)

that have gone above and beyond to help us pack up the rodeo

due to incoming thunderstorms

helping us set up and keep

the rodeo going when it was sooooo hot this weekend!!!

We will makeup events beginning with 6 & U Barrels

on Sat, June 27th

Regular order of events

Double rounds will begin with 6 & Under Barrels

1st round will be Saturday Entries

2nd round will be make up round

No new entries will be accepted for make up round.  Only kids entered

as of Friday 5/15 will be allowed to compete in make up round.

If you are unable to compete in makeup round and would like

a refund please contact Kendra at 405-990-0731

All regular events are held at the Tyler Blount Memorial Arena

(formerly the Guthrie Round-Up Club arena) in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

2009 Rulebook Amendments

1) Mutton Bustin' :  Sheep will now be chute run not drawn.

2) Mutton Bustin' :   A typographical error was made.  The rule should reflect that any child 6 years old or younger may participate.

3) Rainouts & Uncontrollable Circumstance should now reflect that when a rodeo is stopped due to uncontrollable circumstances the decision to make up remaining events or that the rodeo will become a "jackpot" rodeo will be decided by the rodeo committee.
